How to Study for Long Hours

You have heard that sentence " No pain No gain". Study for long hours is seemed to be difficult but if you have a spirit to do then it is not more than you think. 

For study for long hours, Students, usually in exam, have a bundles of books to revise in a single day. So it becomes difficult for them to study for about 8 to 10 hours constantly. 

So if you haven't proper planning, you can't completely revise or study whole syllabus in few days.
 Every student suffers this problem in exam and he/she tries to find such an easy way to study for long hours. Some students could reach the goals and some could become victims of time shortage.

MAKE MIND TO DO IT

First thing is your mind. Are you ready for exam? 
If there are some deficiencies then are you ready to overcome these slacks. So make a mind to study for long hours and don't become lazy and none serious. 

Your strong decision can make you to come and open books for proper preparation. If you can't change your daily routine than it probably bring you far from good result. Every task requires mind-set up, so make mind you can do it. Then do it you want to do.

REGULARITY IS EVERYTHING 

If you set up your mind to study for long hours then it is not good to study 10 hours in first day and lose interest for second day and study 2 to 3 hours. 

You have to create a potential for your studies that take you till end of your exam. So your regular habit of study can make you successful. 

TAKE BREAKS IS A KEY TO STAY CONNECTED 

Did you think, why there are 40 to 50 minutes periods in a school. 
If you study 1 or 2 hours constantly it will make you bore and tired. You will try to concentrate but your brain don't allow you to sit for more study. You become lazy and your focus and interest gone. Study breaks are so much important. It helps our mind to get fresh.
So you have to take breaks by the ratio of 40/5. You have to take break for 5 minutes after 40 minutes study. In these breaks you can eat, exercise or a walk. You can also relax, watch tv, use mobile or computer but these breaks should not longer than 5 minutes. 

SLEEP WELL 

Before going to study for long hours you have to sleep for 8 to 10 hours as it boost your brain and make things in equilibrium. A well sleepy person can easily study for long hours without any distraction. If you didn't care about your sleep than afer 3 or 4 hours you feel lazy and drowsy during study. So sleep well and wake up with an excitement for long study. 

TRY TO STUDY IN DAYTIME

My opinion is 'Night is to sleep and Day for work'. Studying in daytime has many benefits. In daytime you will be fresh and less drowsy as compare to night-time. At night you become lazy due to whole day awakening. This will take you drowsiness and make you to sleep. In daytime, chance of distractions are increases but you can overcome these distractions. So study in daytime for more effective and more focused learning. 

AVOID TO GET DISTRACTED 

As distractions effect focus and concentration. If you lose focus then you have to use more energy to got concentrated. The simple way to avoid distraction is to put the distraction material away. This will make your mind to focus on study. 
Distraction material is your mobile, laptop, television, social media, text messages etc.
You can select a place where number of chances of distraction are less. For example there shouldn't noise of TV, traffic, children, talking etc.

EAT LIGHT AND REPEATEDLY 

As you going to study for long hours than it shouldn't good to get crammed with food. If you eat more, results drowsiness. 
On the other way your brain is 2% of your body weight but it consume 20% of daily energy. Then if you wouldn't eat you could get fatigue. 

So you could maintain your energy level by eating food repeatedly but lightly. 
You can eat fruits and dry-fruits during studying.

MAKE TARGETS

You know that interest and focus increases when we got our target. So make target for a topic completion and set time for it and try to complete the target in time. It will bring positive changes in you and you probably become confident. So set as many targets as you can and try to meet them. If you couldn't meet some target don't lose courage and try to meet other target.
